Hi everyone,
I’ve modified the forum/mailinglist gateway to properly set the
“References:” email header when someone replies via forum to a topic (only
for newly created topics of course). This means that from now on,
replies from the forum are properly inserted into the mailinglist
history, causing most mail clients to insert them into a thread tree.
Valete,
Quintus

Okay, I'll check them out as I get some time over the next week or so.
Our programming tasks are listed at Secretchronicles/TSC (along with other tasks such as art tasks and music tasks).
I may talk to Quintus about breaking "Art and Music" into "Art" and "Music" task categories.
The big focus for programming now is bug fixing for release 2.0. These are signified with the "Bug" label in github. Bugs needed in order to make release 2.0 acceptable are also marked as "release 2.0" for the milestone. Anything with release 2.0 on the label is needed in order to complete the release faster.
The Release 2.0 branch in github corresponds to changes slated to go into the release (we have a feature freeze for code changes for this). The devel branch is where new features go, which will be in subsequent versions of the game.

We have reached aakburns by email, but we still need more team members to make the project keep going. We need to find replacements for Mario music that is being removed, and we are also interested in brand new music.

Naerbu,
Thank you for your interest in composing for Secret Chronicles again. Do you have links to any new music we can check out? I really enjoy checking out people's music myself.
Yes, you are welcome to help out with coding or anything in the game you want. There are some guidelines for contributing in the read me file for coding and artwork you might want to check out:

Johan,
Thank you for looking into composing for Secret Chronicles again. It may be some days before I can check out and think on the music you've posted, though I really enjoy checking out people's compositions. Quintus may also reply to you soon; I'm cc'ing everyone on our email distribution list in this email.
I hope things improve with your music releases on different sites. That kind of thing can be a battle.

Hi Chris!
Let me be honest here. I've been really busy getting my music going since I also had a good deal releasing my music on Spotify among other services. But since they closed down I'm currently free for new assignments. I've invested around €1500 in new gear and software, including a DJ controller, and a few really awesome synths as well as an outstanding drum library that is suited for movie and game music. Another library I bought is the famous Transform library for Kontakt that gives me all sorts of electrical mechanical and outworldish sounds. A few examples of new songs I've composed that I don't mind get into the game:
Johan Brodd - Native chants
A native american chant with a nice beat going, perfect for any mountaineous world
Johan Brodd - Days left to see
Eastern European influenced gypsy jazz with trumpet, violin, vibraphone, and guitar.
Johan Brodd - Under streams
Synthetic vibes with a fresh uplifting slow paced rhythm. Might be something for any cavern levels or underwater levels.
Johan Brodd - State of flux
A very strange and oddworldy song. Like forgotten science being rediscovered and applied with failing modern technologies.
Johan Brodd - Darker than black
A really hard hitting track with a very intricate flow and rhythm. Kinda chip tunesque, but it tells a story on it's own.
This song is not meant for any game, but it shows the drum library and transform library a bit in use:
Johan Brodd - No more sorrows

I'm really glad Bugsbane has come to help out and that Bodhi is interested in helping, and I'm hoping we can convince Mr. Vertigo to help again.
I'd like to try to put out a call for some new artists to join, so as to ramp up our team. At what sites might you guys suggest going to make some posts and try to get some new artists on board?
