I want to suggest removal of the image cache in the 3.0.0
rewrite. Actually I've never really understood why TSC has an image
cache in the first place, but maybe someone can enlighten me why this is
a good idea. If not, let's get rid of it, it has annoyed both users and
developers alike when it needed to be rebuild over and over again.
Actually, would a cache even be possible when we switch to sprite
